TriWest.
TriWest Healthcare Alliance, in partnership with the VA through the Community Care Network (CCN), provides behavioral health services to veterans who cannot access care directly through VA facilities. These benefits include a range of mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatments, delivered through both in-person and telehealth services. Here are the key features of the TriWest and Community Care Network behavioral health benefits:

Outpatient Self-Pay Program Options
Outpatient Care
The network covers services such as individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for conditions like PTSD, depression, anxiety, and SUDs.
Telehealth Services
Tele-behavioral health is a major component, allowing veterans to access therapy and psychiatric services remotely. This includes video consultations with providers, which helps increase access to care, especially in rural areas.
Specialized Support for Veterans:
The care provided through the network includes evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD and other targeted interventions. Veterans who have experienced Military Sexual Trauma (MST) can request care from providers of a specific gender.
Coordination with VA:
Services under the TriWest network must be authorized by the VA, ensuring that care is coordinated with existing VA resources. Providers are required to integrate their care documentation with the VA, helping maintain continuity of care.
Community Care Eligibility:
Veterans eligible for care through the CommunityCare Network can access behavioral health services when a VA facility cannotprovide timely care or if the distance to a VA facility is too great. This helpsensure that veterans receive the care they need closer to home.
These benefits ensure that veterans have access to high-quality mental health services even when VA facilities are not an option, emphasizing convenience and comprehensive support
